Teresa Krug is a multimedia journalist and founder of TK Productions. Her work focuses on how policy affects ordinary people navigating immigration, international intervention, entrepreneurship, healthcare and climate change. As a reporter and producer, Teresa has covered stories for the world's biggest news outlets, including: Al Jazeera English/America, The Associated Press, Bloomberg, CBS News, NowThis, The Guardian, Voice of America and Hearst's Matter of Fact with Soledad O'Brien.
A native of Heber Springs, Arkansas, she also calls many other places home.
Teresa’s most recent work is a podcast telling the story Samia Yusuf Omar, a 2008 Olympian. The podcast, The Fastest Girl in Somalia, won the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival Audio Nonfiction Reporting Award and aired on ESPN’s 30 for 30 in September 2026.
